This page explains, in plain language, what information DefenseStack (defensestackhq.com) handles and why. Short version: we collect only what you give us, we use it to run the site and the newsletter, and we don't sell it.
Browsing the site
You can read DefenseStack without an account. The site doesn't set its own cookies and doesn't use advertising trackers or analytics scripts. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Newsletter
If you sign up for the weekly newsletter, your email address goes to our newsletter provider, beehiiv, through a form embedded on our pages. We use it only to send the newsletter. beehiiv may record opens and clicks and may set cookies through its form. Every issue has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe anytime. Payments
Vendors who buy a listing or sponsorship pay through Stripe-hosted checkout pages. Stripe collects and processes card and billing details; we never see or store your full card number. We receive what we need to deliver the placement and keep records, such as your name, email, the tool name you enter, and what you bought. See Stripe's privacy policy.
If you email us at defensestack@agentmail.to (for questions, invoices, corrections or contract submissions), we keep your message and address to reply and to follow up on your request.
How we use and share information
We use information only to run the site, send the newsletter, deliver paid placements, answer messages and meet legal or tax obligations. We don't sell or rent personal information. We share it only with the service providers named above, or when the law requires it.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter anytime, and you can email us to ask what we hold about you or to have it corrected or deleted, subject to records we must keep (for example, for taxes).
Public records
Contract prices on this site come from public government records. They describe agencies and vendors, not individual visitors.
